Open any card or poem and click Personalize Card at the bottom. Add your message (and a photo if you like), enter the name and email address of each person, or pick them from your Address Book, then send it now or choose a date to send it later.

Each person gets an email with a button to open your card. If you are not signed in, you will be asked to sign in first.

Use the search box at the top of every page (the magnifier on phones), for example birthday daughter. You can also browse All Categories, New Cards or Top 10 Trending.

Open your Outbox. The Sent tab lists every person each card went to, and whether they have opened it yet. The Scheduled tab shows cards waiting to go out, which you can still edit.

Yes. In your Outbox, find the card and click Send Again. The card opens ready to send; correct the email address and send it.

Yes. When you personalize a card there is a button to post it to Facebook, and every card page also has a Facebook share button.

Check your Outbox: each person shows Opened or Not opened. If you turned on notifications, you also get an email when your card is opened.

A card can fail to arrive because:

• the email address was mistyped,
• it went to their junk or spam folder (marking it "Not junk" fixes this for future cards too),
• their email filter held it back, or
• their mailbox is full.

Try Send Again, or send the card to yourself and forward it.

Cards with music show a Play Music button; browsers do not start music by themselves, so tap or click it. If you still hear nothing, check that the volume on your computer, phone or speakers is turned up and not muted.

The button in the email opens your card. If you only have the card code, enter it on the Pick up a card page.

Click Login at the top right of any page (on phones it is in the header and the menu) and enter your email address and password. Sign in here.

On the sign-in page click Forgot password? and enter your email address. We email you a link to choose a new password; it works once and for one hour. Check your spam folder if it does not arrive.

If you no longer use the email address on your account, contact us.

Open My Account and choose Change email or Change password. Your email address is also your sign-in name, so sign in with the new one afterwards.

Open your Address Book. Add people with + Add contacts, or click the pencil next to a contact to change it.

In your Address Book, click the trash can next to a contact. To remove several at once, tick their boxes and click Delete selected.

Add birthdays, anniversaries and other dates on the Reminders page and choose how early to be reminded. We email you before the date. Turn on Repeat every year for events like birthdays. Use the pencil to change a reminder, or the trash can to remove it.
